Claire Ward, Founder and CEO
Claire has spent many years creating and delivering strategic and operational HR in start-up and high growth environments ( many of which have in the Deloitte Fast 50, Telegraph top 100, Tech Track 100 & Best Companies lists). Clients have described her as pragmatic, thoughtful and a good problem solver. Family have described her as quite loud and stubborn. She prefers her clients descriptions… When not setting about trying to solve the HR problems of the small business world, she can be found wild-swimming, with her nose in a book or perpetually training her dog, Baxter.
Katy Cracknell, Director
There isn’t much Katy hasn’t seen on the HR front in all the years she has been working with SMEs, but loads she wished she could forget! From managing some pretty sticky employee relations right through to improving the employee experience across the board with clients, it’s all in a day’s work for Katy. And all done with good grace, a calm demeanour and a smile on her face. A keen runner, Katy can often be found in various events across the South East gunning for the finish line and checking her Fit Bit to see where her team have come. Not that she’s competitive you understand….
Petrina is our Chief Cheerleading Officer, a relentless go-getter who loves a challenge. Having started her career designing and implementing call centre solutions, she went 'back to school' to study organisational psychology. Since then, she has been helping businesses of all different sizes to adapt, innovate and increase productivity. Petrina loves to travel and enjoys following the sun (especially to her second home in Australia). Her clients say she is friendly, open and can cut through the confusion of a situation. Her family say she combines natural leadership (they say "bossy"?) with good humour...
Ros Bailey, CMO
Ros is our resident Chief Marketing Officer. With in-house marketing experience at Red Bull, Nestle and Fuller’s, she earned her stripes working on some of the UK's best-loved brands. From strategy and branding to digital and events, she is the brain and brawn behind all our marketing activity. A bit of a Thesp, our Ros loves nothing more than a night at the theatre. But she’s most commonly found striding out in the countryside, attempting to exhaust her lively collie, Molly.
Jamie Trentham, Associate
Jamie is a creative HR practitioner with a passion for creating operating efficiency through technology and working closely with managers and staff to refine HR and business processes. Not one for process without benefit, he is a people person who enjoys managing a small team and coaching managers to increase skills across the business. A genuinely enthusiastic manager with a passion for HR and the great things that can be achieved when people put their minds to it.
Fleur Winter, Associate
Fleur began her career in pharmaceutical sales, working for Bayer and promoting antibiotics and heart drugs to GPs and hospital consultants. Fast forward a few years and she followed her calling, re-training as a learning and talent development consultant and executive coach. Since then she has held roles at internationally recognised organisations such as JCB & Centrica. Pragmatic and flexible are words which she would use to describe herself. Charming, insightful and very good fun are also ones we would use. Fleur has a degree in psychology and when out of ‘school’, she spends her time renovating her beautiful house.
